He highlighted its features, goals and potentialities and invited the bystanders to develop this dedicated tool.
The Portal Italiafoodtec.com, as the President explains, shows the potentiality of Italian companies both individually and together and presents openly the innovation and know-how of the Italian Branch.
The Portal does not want to be only a tool for an use exclusively commercial, it is also an high-tech platform, with a non-stop evolution, providing services and connections with all the realities moving around the Italian Agri-Food Tecnologies Branch.
"To date, we have always talked about food and never technology," Gelati says, "and through this Portal we can give the right value to one of the most interesting Branchs for the Italian economy". In this way it will possible to make room for initiatives supporting companies through collaboration with the sponsoring institutions, including ITA - Italian Trade Agency, Parma Industrialist Union, National Board of Food Technologists, SSICA - Experimental Station for the Food Conservation Industry, University of Parma and Milan.
